Why Choose Sculptra?

Sculptra is a non-surgical, minimally-invasive treatment that, unlike other dermal fillers, can last up to two years. It is also safe and effective for all skin types.

Expectations

To ensure a comfortable, pain-free experience, Dr. Shapiro will mix Sculptra with lidocaine (a local anesthetic medication). Then using a soft-tipped cannula, he will gently introduce the product under the skin which significantly reduces the risk of bruising.

Immediately after the treatment, you may notice some improvement in your skin’s appearance but that will subside over the next few days.

The real volumizing effect of Sculptra will develop gradually over several weeks. Most patients require 2-3 treatment sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
