Dermal Fillers

What Are Dermal Fillers?

At our practice, we offer several types of dermal fillers (for example: Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra, and Radiesse) that are used to add volume, structure, and fullness to your skin. The best part? We specialize in providing natural-looking results that provide a more youthful look.

These injections can help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, add volume to your face, and create smoother contours. You can also use fillers to add fullness to your lips or cheeks.

Whether you are looking to erase fine lines and wrinkles or add more volume to your lips and cheeks, Dr. Shapiro will achieve the aesthetic goal you’re looking for.

When Can I Expect To See the Dermal Filler Results?

You can expect to see your results almost immediately depending on swelling or bruising if that occurs, you might need to wait several days after the procedure once the healing is completed.

Once you’ve gotten your injections, you can expect them to last anywhere from six to nine months depending on which filler you used. Some areas with greater blood flow, like your lips, may last for a shorter time.

Am I a Good Candidate for Dermal Fillers?

During your consultation, Dr. Shapiro will analyze your facial structure and discuss your aesthetics goal to determine if a dermal filler is right for you. Dr. Shapiro has over ten years experience in helping women and men achieve their desired look with dermal fillers.

There are many factors that can contribute to whether you’re a good candidate for dermal fillers. Most often, those who use dermal fillers are in their 30s looking to respond to signs of premature aging. People in their 20s might also be interested for this reason. Those who are 40 and up can also benefit from the anti-aging effect of dermal fillers.
