PRP, Exosomes & Stem Cells
Conveniently located to serve the areas of Miami, FL

PRP, exosomes, and stem cells are biological therapies that improve cellular function and optimize performance—because we all need a little extra help sometimes!
Conditions that are treatable with biologic therapies:
- Musculoskeletal injuries, acute and chronic
- Erectile dysfunction
- Enhancements in overall cellular function associated with longevity optimization
- Skin and hair rejuvenation
What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment is a process of using a patient’s own blood components to facilitate the body’s healing processes. Essentially, we take a sample of your own blood and spin it to concentrate the platelets, which contain beneficial, rejuvenating factors. This fluid is then injected into areas of injury and areas in need of enhanced performance. Side effects are minimal since we create the serum from your own blood, so your body is treating itself!
PRP has 7 fundamental proteins:
- Platelet-derived growth factors (PDGF)
- Transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β)
- Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)
- Epidermal growth factor (EGF)
- Adhesive proteins (fibrin, fibronectin, and vitronectin) (1)
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are tiny, nano-sized sacs released by cells that act as crucial messengers, carrying proteins, lipids, and genetic material (like mRNA) to other cells to regulate functions like healing, inflammation, and collagen production, essentially directing cell behavior and promoting tissue regeneration, especially in skincare for anti-aging and repair. They are like microscopic delivery trucks, facilitating cell-to-cell communication by delivering instructions that influence gene expression, making cells act younger and healthier.
These cells are also injected into areas of concern and in need of optimization. (2)
What are stem cells?
Allogeneic stem cells for longevity involve using donated stem cells (often from umbilical cord/placenta) to combat aging by reducing inflammation, repairing damaged tissues, and boosting immune function.
Allogeneic stem cells derived from umbilical cord tissue, placenta, and umbilical cord blood have shown potential in treating delayed systemic aging and aging-related diseases.
Aging induces cellular senescence, oxidative stress, chronic inflammation, and stem cell depletion, all of which contribute to tissue damage and functional decline. Recent advances in regenerative medicine suggest that allogeneic stem cells can mitigate these aging processes through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. (3)
In our practice, we can combine these therapies to supercharge healing and performance. Recent studies have shown the effectiveness of these therapies when done by an experienced physician.
